Baptism For The New Spartans

Erik went to Sparta to wash in the Eurotas River and play his accordion at the statue of King Leonidas.  He did this because he wants to resurrect the spirit of ancient Sparta, unite it with music, and inspire people to worship God, love their families, and be loyal to their country.  He believes that these ”born again” Spartans will reform society.

“I was inspired to wash in the Eurotas River by a Spartan cook who told a Persian king that he would never like melanozomo unless he washed in the Eurotas River.  Melanozomo was the famous Spartan black soup,” Erik explained. “But, as I stood washing myself in the middle of the crystal clear water, with the high Taygetos Mountains in the distance, I had a dream. I dreamed that people from many lands came to wash in the river and were spiritually transformed into Spartans. These new Spartans, these ‘born again’ heroes, marched from the river and changed the course of history again. To these men and women, Sparta is a holy land, a holy land for heroes.

Erik uploaded his theory to YouTube as The Social Reformation on ThePolka channel.
